Robert Aitken is the principal and solicitor director of our law firm. Robert completed his Bachelor of Laws in 1991 and commenced in private practice in 1992. Having 20 years experience, you can be confident you are in good hands. The drink driving, DUI, traffic and licence division of Aitken Whyte Lawyers was necessary due to the many years of providing specialist advice and appearances in this area of the law. Our firm has represented thousands of people facing various offences or requiring specialist services, expertise and results relating to their licence.

Robert has extensive experience and has appeared before the Courts of South East Queensland more times than he can count. His team of lawyers appear nearly every day in the Courts around Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. He has worked as a lawyer on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney.

Robert holds a number of degrees including a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New England.

Robert's well rounded and extensive qualifications mean his clients are being provided with not just legal knowledge, but an understanding of the real world and what is needed to give the best advice for his clients' relevant circumstances.
